3 Mouses

Once upon a time, there were three brothers who were mouses. The eldest named Zac was proud being the eldest and tried to show off to his two younger brothers every chance he gets. Tom, the middle, was really overweight and he was often made fun of because of that which made him really shy, but he was actually the smartest out of the three. Lastly the youngest, Skye is comparably smaller and weaker than the other two, but he always tried to prove himself in front of his brothers, especially Zac. They all lived happily together and enjoyed living off of food crumbs. 

But then one day, the owner of the house got sick and tired seeing mouses in her house everyday, so she decided to get a pet cat. Upon hearing the news, Tom and Skye got nervous and were afraid that they'd get killed if they try to search for food. Zac, although also afraid, saw his two younger brothers scared and decided to tell them that he'll take care of it. 

Zac peeked outside of his mouse hole where they live to see where the cat was. When he thought that the coast was clear, he instantly tiptoed to the kitchen, but when he got there he saw it. The cat.

The huge black cat was drinking milk from a bowl in the kitchen. Zac started to quiver, his legs shaking, palms sweating, and mind blank. Without thinking he started to hyperventilate just by the sheer presence alone from the cat, then it heard. The cat turned around and upon seeing their natural enemy besides dogs he lashed out to Zac tipping his bowl upside down in the process. Zac finally realized what was going on and with few courage left, he hurriedly hid under the bowl. Cat, confused, not knowing Zac had gone under, walking away as if nothing happened, but then, a sniff. With the smell of a mouse radiating through the air it led the cat back to Zac. The cat with all it's might tried to lift the bowl, but he only had paws which made task very difficult thus resulting in him assaulting the bowl.

Meanwhile, at the mouse hole, Tom and Skye were beginning to worry. Skye tried to convince Tom to go out and see if Zac's in any trouble, but Tom refused and told him that they'd only be getting in his way. Skye then became salty and stated that he would be of use and stormed out. Although scared, Tom couldn't leave his younger brother to fight the beast alone and followed.

They saw what was happening and they instantly tried to attract it's attention. the cat pounced after Tom and Skye and they the ran for their lives. Suddenly,  Tom thought of an idea and told it to skye.

They then ran away in a weird pattern resulting in the cat bumping into some furniture. Then , the owner arrived and walked in and saw the mess. Everything was ruined, scratch marks, broken vases which led her to believe that this was all of the cat's doing. She regretted having and instantly took the cat back where it came from.
